Awaiting the announcement of a regular cab option, the 2019 1500 Crew Cab is the current standard for the truck. Each of the six trim configurations offer a different, unique interior color to suit the truck's theme, such as earthen tan/browns for the Longhorn, and bold colors and trim for the Rebel. The exterior has been remodeled from the ground up. An all-new 98% steel frame and new 6-lug axle is stronger, lighter, and designed with safety in mind, contributing to greater hauling and towing capabilities. Additional standard features include an 8.4- or 12-inch touchscreen for phone calls and music, trailer-sway control, a rearview camera, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, and 18-inch wheels. The gas tank is 23 gallons, able to be upgraded with higher trim levels to be 33 gallons. Top-level trims also offer power-folding trailer-tow side mirrors, dual-pane moonroof, deployable side steps, damped tailgate with power release, 22-inch wheels, four-corner air suspension, and dual exhaust tops finish off the exterior.
