We'll be the first to admit that our new Charger SRT8 would never be mistaken for a "Gentleman's Hot Rod," despite the fact it has virtually the same creature comforts as its preppy cousin: the Chrysler 300C SRT8. Between these two high-performance sedans, our 2012 Charger SRT8 is more "in your face" thanks to its aggressive styling, while the 300C SRT8 blends in better at the country club.

 

With a 470 horsepower 6.4L HEMI® under its sculpted hood along with unique front and rear fascia, the Charger SRT8 certainly gets noticed among the "go-fast" crowd. Behind the wheel of this ride, you might get some wide-eyed glances of admiration and awe from passersby who'd probably give their birth right just for a 12 second blast down the drag strip.

 

Speaking of going down the track, the speed junkies at Edmunds Inside Line had some fun tearing it up in the Charger SRT8 along with a Challenger SRT8 392.
