2012 Jeep® Wrangler – Capability Without Compromise!

As we're working on 2012 model year Jeep vehicles, we are always looking for improvements-such is the case with the new 2012 Jeep® Wrangler. For 2012 we bring a brand-new Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine to the mix, adding massive enhancements across the board. The Wrangler sees an enormous 40-percent boost in horsepower, to 285hp and an improvement in torque as well-260 ft-lb to be exact-also known as a 10-percent increase over the last model year. Our engineers made some unique "tweaks" such as a revised intake and exhaust systems on the award winning 3.6L to give even more low-end torque with the end result of more fuel efficiency and power.
We just didn't stop at the flywheel as the new five-speed automatic
has been specially calibrated for enhanced shifting while driving both
on and off the road. For all you number crunchers out there, check out
these stats - 21 miles per gallon and zero-to-sixty arrives at an
impressive 8.4 seconds. They say it's a challenge to improve and icon,
well to that we say, the 2012 Wrangler will have even more capabilities
on wherever your journey takes you!
